🎤Speaker: Michael Runtz (Naturatlist, Author, Educator & Former Carleton University Professor)
Michael’s highly visual presentation, Algonquin Wild, will be an intimate exploration of the Park’s natural history through the four seasons. Spectacular images will provide insights into the lives of not only Algonquin’s trademark animals such as loons, wolves, bears, and moose but also of lesser-known creatures including dragonflies, butterflies, and minute snow animals. The presentation will also explore Algonquin’s remarkable diversity of plants and their habitats, as well as the dramatic visual changes each season brings.
