Like Folds On A Paper, Our Adventures Leave A Mark.
A fragile paper boat sets sail.
Adventure awaits in coral reefs and deep sea dives. Friends and foes are tossed amongst ocean waves. Journey with the paper boat through loneliness and connection, cruelty and beauty, and discover what is waiting at the journey's end!
This fall Youth Artists in grades 1-12 from across Calgary will use the wordless graphic novel "The Wanderer" by Peter Van den Ende as inspiration for this year's production. The Youth Artists will co-create alongside professional choreographers, playwrights, composers and designers to explore the impact humans have on the environment, greed, resilience, and create a whole cast of quirky characters from under the sea!
This story reminds us that when we are alone, adrift in a world that feels too big to handle, we can make it! We can overcome. We can find connection.

This show is sutitable for ages 7+.
Theatrical haze, loud music, and fast moving lights will be used throughout the show.
The show runs for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Info: On Saturday, November 28, 2026 audience members between ages 7 - 12 are invited to touch the costumes, see the props and try a dance from the actual show alongside this year's Youth Artists. This 30 minute behind the scenes experience is followed by eating snacks and reading this year's show inspiration book, The Wanderer. At 3:00pm participants will settle into their reserved seats (some of the best in the house), to watch the show which runs approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Parents are welcome to attend the Touch & See & Try experience. All attendees must purchase the Touch & See & Try ticket add on.
