One of the most respected and renowned guitarists in music history, the Grammy Award-winning Albert Lee has worked with the likes of Eric Clapton, The Everly Brothers, The Crickets and Emmylou Harris over an illustrious career spanning 60 years.
His unique picking style - performed at breakneck speeds that have to be seen to be believed - has earned him the title of “the guitarist’s guitarist”.
With his unique blend of rock ’n’ roll and country ballads -featuring his blistering signature hit “Country Boy” - this is your chance to see a true legendary guitarist in action in his 80th year.
"He’s the ultimate virtuoso. His skill is extraordinary, his ear is extraordinary and he’s gifted on just about every level.” - Eric Clapton
“A musical genius.” - Ralph McTell
“A brilliant guitar player. His sound is unmistakable - often emulated, never equalled.” - Emmylou Harris
“Great musicians make you want to dance, make you cry and make you fall in love, and Albert does that with his playing.” - Jools Holland
