About this Event
Join Algalita for a guided kayak experience through Alamitos Bay, where we’ll paddle together to explore local biodiversity, visit favorite ecological hot spots, and learn what makes each area of this urban ocean unique.
As part of Clean Bay Collective, we spend a lot of time learning about the Bay through water quality testing, community science, and regular observations along the shoreline. This kayak tour gives us a chance to experience the Bay from a different perspective and take a closer look at the wildlife, waterways, and human activity that shape this unique urban ecosystem.
This outing is designed to be accessible to beginners and welcoming to anyone curious about the bay. No prior kayaking or science experience required.
