I am organizing our Ainikien RiMajol (Voice of the Marshallese) Get Out the Vote event this Saturday! This is one of many events I plan to organize to encourage registered Marshallese-American voters to make their voices heard at the polls.
This has been one of my biggest community projects since before the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the years, I have gone door to door, helping eligible Marshallese-Americans register to vote. Registering voters was the easier part. Now comes the most important part—getting our people to the polls to actually cast their ballots!
🇲🇭 NOW IT IS YOUR TURN TO BE THE VOICE OF OUR COMMUNITY!
Many of our Marshallese family members, friends, parents, and grandparents cannot vote because they are not U.S. citizens. But YOU have the opportunity to make your voice heard on issues that affect all of us.
Your vote is not just about you. It is also about your family, your community, and future generations.
This Saturday, we are bringing together Marshallese-American voters and their families for an opportunity to meet candidates running for local, county, state, and federal offices. You will have a chance to meet them, ask questions, and learn about their plans for our community.

We will help escort interested registered voters to an early voting location so they can cast their ballots!
We will have plenty of delicious BBQ plates, made possible through the generous sponsorship of candidates participating in our event. We appreciate their support and willingness to engage with our community.
I am asking every eligible Marshallese-American voter: Please don’t let this opportunity pass you by!
Bring your brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and family members. Encourage those who are registered to vote to come out and participate.
For many years, we have worked hard to build a stronger Marshallese-American voice here in Northwest Arkansas. Now is our opportunity to turn those years of voter registration efforts into real participation at the polls.
We may not all have the right to vote, but those who do have the power to make their voices heard!
