Submersion Records Celebrates Six Years with a Concert!
Submersion Records, the independent record label founded in Thessaloniki in 2020, is celebrating its sixth anniversary on Sunday, November 8, at Transcendance, with a concert featuring Aidan Baker and Sunday Loner Tapes.
Aidan Baker
The Canadian multi-instrumentalist, who is based in Berlin, operates within the ambient and experimental music scenes. He has released numerous albums, both as a solo artist and through other projects, including Nadja.
He has collaborated and recorded with musicians such as Tim Hecker, Gnod, Thor Harris (Swans), and FM Einheit (Einstürzende Neubauten), and has performed at festivals including SXSW, Supersonic, and Roadburn.
His recent release on Submersion Records is Dilated Time, the result of his collaboration with J. Zunz.
Sunday Loner Tapes
Kyriakos Plsds, singer and guitarist for Minor Mine, Next & Patient, and As Never Before, presents his new solo project, Sunday Loner Tapes, featuring fresh, previously unreleased material.
Repetitive guitar patterns and understated storytelling revolve around the core of an idiosyncratic folk songwriting style.
Now a larger team, Submersion Records is planning new releases and activities, and invites friends, artists, and musicians to come together and celebrate.
Special offers on the label’s catalogue will be available before and after the concert.
