About the Speakers
Facilitator - Faraz Majid
Faraz is a Data Engineer and Energy Planner with a strong foundation in power systems engineering and data science. He has delivered engineering projects across the mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors, completing advanced electrical studies and designing industrial electrical systems. In his current role, Faraz applies data science and machine learning to forecast Ontario’s electricity demand, using tools such as Itron Metrix, Python, Tableau, and SQL. He also holds an MBA focused on strategy, digital transformation, analytics, and technology innovation.
Facilitator - Iqra Ajaz
Iqra is an accomplished HR Leader and Life Coach with more than 12 years of experience spanning the private, public, government, not‑for‑profit, and publicly traded sectors. She holds an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and maintains her CHRP designation. Iqra is passionate about fostering continuous learning and development, empowering individuals and teams to upskill and adapt in an increasingly dynamic, AI‑driven business environment.
