About this Event
AI Workflow Clinic NYC
You probably have at least one task you repeat every week that takes more time than it should.
- A client follow-up.
- A weekly report.
- Content scheduling.
- Moving information between tools.
- Organizing incoming requests.
- Updating a spreadsheet.
AI Workflow Clinic NYC is a small, hands-on working session designed to help you turn one real repetitive task into a simpler, repeatable workflow.
This is not a lecture about the future of AI.
You will bring your laptop and one task from your actual work.
During the clinic, you will map the task, identify where automation can realistically help, build a first working version, and test the result.
The goal is simple:
Arrive with a task. Leave with a workflow you can continue using and improving.
No coding background is required.
What You'll Work On
During the session, you will:
- Choose one task that is repetitive enough to automate
- Map the steps, inputs, decisions, and outputs
- Estimate how much time the task currently consumes
- Identify where AI or automation tools can reduce manual work
- Build and test a first working workflow
- Review the result with another attendee
- Define one next step for improving or deploying it
Facilitators will circulate during the build sprint, with clinic tables organized around common professional needs such as freelance and creative work, marketing, and small-business operations.
Example Workflows
Good clinic projects might include:
Weekly reporting and summaries
Client or customer follow-up drafts
Content planning and scheduling
Lead or inquiry organization
Meeting-note processing
Routine research or information gathering
Spreadsheet and administrative workflows
Choose something small enough to prototype during the session.
What to Bring
Bring your own laptop and charger.
Before arriving, choose one real repetitive task that you would like to improve.
You may use AI and automation tools you already have access to. The clinic is tool-flexible rather than built around one specific platform.
Please do not enter confidential client information, passwords, financial credentials, sensitive personal information, or proprietary data into third-party AI or automation tools during the workshop. Example or anonymized data works well for testing.
