AI Is Hiring: Who Gets In? | SF Tech Workforce Forum
AI hiring is surging across the Bay Area - accounting for over 55% of local tech postings - while non-AI tech roles remain depressed. The urgent question is no longer whether AI creates or destroys jobs, but:
Who actually gets hired in the new labor market?
Hosted by Keystone inside the Pressroom Gallery at The Box SF, this 2.5-hour forum brings together engineers, designers, product operators, recruiters, and hiring managers to examine real labor data and map practical career responses.
This is not an AI tutorial, a recruiting pitch, or a motivational seminar. Instead of passive panels, the evening pairs verified workforce data with facilitated small-table problem solving:
- The Sourced Labor Briefing: Benchmark current Bay Area hiring data, credential shifts, and remote versus in-person demands.
- Round 1 (Who Gets In?): Analyze which profiles, skill sets, and backgrounds are capturing current budgets.
- Round 2 (Who Risks Being Left Out?): Tackle emerging bottlenecks facing junior talent, non-AI technical roles, and mid-career transitions.
- Moderated Floor Synthesis: Direct, candid Q&A addressing hiring realities across the room.
