Info: In this presentation, Partick Armstrong, CIO of Plurimi will present on Artificial Intelligence no longer being a future concept in investing. It is actively transforming how portfolios are built, risks are assessed, and decisions are made.

He will cover a brief history of AI, from early rule-based systems to machine learning, deep learning, and large language models, and how AI is challenging traditional investment frameworks and redefining what is possible in portfolio construction.

He will also compare and contrast Machine learning vs Generative AI.

Generative AI has captured people’s imaginations, but at this point he believes that LLMs are more confident than competent at complex tasks, and thus create fiduciary risks.
