About this Event
A morning with Dr Ana Rojo-Echeburúa, Head of FIN, hosted by FIN and Azets.
Most organisations already use AI somewhere, and in many cases the risks aren't well understood. Board members are still accountable for what those systems do with the organisation's data, its numbers and its decisions.
Over breakfast, Ana sets out the risks that sit with the board and the practical steps you can take now, so your organisation gets a return from AI without taking on risks you can't explain.
A question for your board: how confident are you that you know where AI is used in the business, what it costs and what risk it carries?
What you'll take away:
- The risks boards most often miss, from sensitive data leaving the organisation and inaccurate outputs feeding decisions to bias and reliance on third-party providers.
- What UK and EU regulation, including the EU AI Act, means for your responsibilities as a director.
- Why governance comes first, with clear ownership, data quality and policy agreed before anything goes live.
- How to agree a baseline up front and measure the return, so every AI investment can be explained to auditors and regulators.
- Five questions to take back to your next board meeting.
