Mariners and Marras are a rum old bunch of community singers based in North Shields who take delight in entertaining the public with their unique mix of sea shanties and North East traditional working songs. Joining in is optional but strongly advised!

The singers are led by Harry Gallagher, a widely published poet whose work will in equal parts make you smile and feel things in places you’d forgotten existed - one of which may be Middlesbrough.
