Make connections with a mentor and see how the classroom learning can be applied in the real world!About this Event
Practicum (AGRI 192) is a required course for all Agriculture programs (certificate, diploma and degree).
Practicums take place in April each year and consist of 90 hours of experience (unpaid) with an agriculture host business (farm, consultant, supplier, not-for-profit).
Practicums can be an amazing opportunity for students to make connections with a mentor and see how the classroom learning can be applied in the real world. In fact, many alumni report on the value of the practicum experience in helping them find their first job after graduation.
