South Wales Hub Group AGM, followed by an online technical talk Overview and update on CROSS (Collaborative Reporting for Safer Structures).
About this Event

CROSS is a confidential reporting system funded by the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, and the Building Safety Regulator. It is also supported by the Institution of Fire Engineers.

CROSS is appointed by the Building Safety Regulator to operate the official Voluntary Occurrence Reporting System. The Regulator has a duty under the Building Safety Act to appoint a body to operate such a system. It allows professionals working in the built environment to report on fire and structural safety issues. These are then analysed by a panel of Experts and lessons learned are published and shared.

This presentation will cover:

• The history of CROSS

• What CROSS is and what we do

• The information we provide

• How to report Safety issues

• Example CROSS Structural Safety Reports and Key Learning Outcomes

• Example CROSS Safety Alerts

• Overall lessons learned from CROSS
