About this Event
Join the Age-Friendly Community Voices Series!
The Grand River Council on Aging and the Self-Regulation, Emotion, and Aging Lab at Wilfrid Laurier University invite you to participate in the Age-Friendly Community Voices Series. Across 9 sessions, we hope to hear about the experiences of folks aged 5-to-105 across the City of Brantford, County of Brant, and Six Nations of the Grand River.
Following the orientation session, each session will focus on a different pillar of age-friendly communities, as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO). Folks are invited to attend as many sessions as they wish. Coffee/tea and snacks will be served at all sessions.
---------------------
This seventh session will focus on the age-friendly pillar of "Civic participation and employment".
Please register to this event (it is free!) if you would like to take part in the orientation session.
