Overview
This friendly and informative session explores how we can all help make Brighton & Hove a more age and dementia friendly city, supporting people to age well and live healthy, active and independent lives.
The session takes a broad look at ageing and the changes and barriers people may experience as they get older. It includes practical ways to make services, information and environments more inclusive and accessible.
Dementia is covered as part of the session, with signposting to further dementia training opportunities.

- Ageism and how we can challenge it
- How to make online information and physical environments more accessible
- Changes that can happen as we age, including changes to sight, hearing and mobility
- Social and psychological aspects of ageing
