Meet the Jury
Lucy Suchman is professor emerita in the anthropology of science and technology at Lancaster University, UK. Her most recent article on military imaginaries of AI-enabled warfighting was published in the journal Social Studies of Science.
Moira Weigel is an Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at Harvard University and is a cofounder of Logic magazine. Among other things, her research examines the history of intellectual exchange between critical theorists, computer scientists, and other practitioners, with a focus on forms of conservatism and nationalism that are often perceived as antithetical to digital networks, yet increasingly prevalent among tech elites.
Brett Story is an award-winning filmmaker and writer whose work pushes the formal boundaries of political cinema. Her most recent feature documentary about the first unionized Amazon warehouse, Union (2024), premiered at Sundance 2024 where it won a Special Jury Prize and captured the spirit of the historic hot labour summer.
