NL Twaalf jaar lang onderzocht Lisa Vereertbrugghen de wereld van de (hardcore) techno. Nu richt ze zich op het andere uiteinde van het snelheidsspectrum: de slow, die radicaal anders aan de slag gaat met intimiteit en tijd. Losgetrokken uit haar traditionele context en verbonden met queer nightlife, ontwikkelt de slow zich tot een collectieve praktijk van verzet. FR Pendant douze ans, Lisa Vereertbrugghen a exploré l’univers de la techno (hardcore). Elle s’intéresse à présent à l’extrême opposé du spectre de la vitesse : le slow, par lequel l’intimité et le temps sont abordés de manière radicalement différente. Détaché de son contexte traditionnel et lié à la vie nocturne queer, le slow se développe en une pratique collective de résistance.
EN For the past twelve years, Lisa Vereertbrugghen has explored the world of (hardcore) techno. Now, she is shifting her focus to the other end of the speed spectrum: the slow, which approaches intimacy and time in a radically different way. Torn from its traditional context and connected to queer nightlife, the slow is developing into a collective practice of resistance.
