About this Event
The Longmont Chorale reunites with the Longmont Concert Band for a collaborative concert of reflection, warmth, and beauty.
Like the afterglow that lingers after sunset, the program explores music that captures the transition as day gives way to evening. Featuring both individual and combined performances, audiences will hear the remarkable blend of voices and wind instruments in music that ranges from peaceful and contemplative - such as a combined perforrmance of the beloved Sleep by renowned composer Eric Whitacre - to powerful and uplifiting.
Whether you're a longtime lover of choral and band music, or simply looking for an afternoon of exeptional live music, this concert offers a rich and memorable musical experience.
