About The Speaker:
Anthony Carrano is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), physical education leader, adjunct professor, and movement educator dedicated to helping people improve their health through the science of movement. As the Physical Education Instructional Lead for District 20 in New York City Public Schools, an adjunct professor specializing in physical education curriculum planning, and a former research assistant in Lehman College's Applied Muscle and Development Lab, Anthony bridges academic research with practical application. He is also a climbing conditioning coach, martial arts instructor, and host of the Movement and Performance Podcast, where he explores the latest research on fitness, brain health, and human performance. Through his work, Anthony empowers individuals, schools, workplaces, and communities to build healthier, stronger lives by making movement an essential part of everyday living.
