About this Event
A Conversation on Brain Health, Experience, and Neuroplasticity
Join a neuroscientist and psychology professor for Brain Plasticity: How The Brain Reshapes Itself, an engaging exploration of the brain's remarkable ability to change in response to experience. Together, we'll explore what is known (and what isn’t known) about how these and other everyday behaviors influence brain health and function.
What We'll Cover:
• How neuroplasticity works - Explore how the brain changes and adapts in response to experience.
• Exercise, alcohol and the brain - Discover how these behaviors, alone or in combination, can influence brain health, cognition, and recovery.Whether you're fascinated by neuroscience, or simply curious about how everyday behaviors impact brain health, you'll leave with a deeper appreciation for the brain's ability to adapt.
Don't miss this chance to connect with your After5Society.
