Incorporating is the easy part, staying compliant is where founders get caught out. This session walks Singapore entrepreneurs through the filing calendar every private limited company must follow, including annual filing and tax filing.
By the end of this session, participants will know exactly which agencies they’re accountable to and when, be able to map their own filing calendar around their company’s financial year end, understand what “filing-ready” financial statements actually require, recognize a compliance duty most founders don’t even know exists, and know what a legally mandatory role means in practice for even a one-person company.

About the Facilitator: Tan Seng Chun
Fractional CFO & Independent Director
Mr Tan Seng Chun is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of extensive experience in finance, operational and strategic management, fundraising, and digital transformation. His career spans diverse industries, including financial institutions, technology companies, MNCs, and startups, where he has excelled in both regulated and entrepreneurial environments across fast-paced emerging Economies.
Currently serving as a Fractional Chief Financial Officer, Seng Chun provides strategic financial guidance to families and businesses and collaborates with organizations on business process consulting and outsourcing. He is also an Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairperson of a Singapore Mainboard-listed company.
In his previous leadership roles, he served as Group CFO of a digital payment group, leading transformative initiatives and digital innovation. His earlier positions include Head of Finance, Asia Pacific for a European multinational and Finance Director, Asia for a US corporation, where he successfully managed regional operations and acquisitions. Earlier in his career, as CFO of a Singapore-listed company, he played a key role in the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO), spearheaded capital-raising efforts, and led successful restructuring initiatives.
A Chartered Accountant (Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants), Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors, and a Certified Adult Educator (ACLP), Seng Chun integrates professional excellence with a passion for lifelong learning and capability development.
Fluent in English and Chinese, and with over 20 years of experience working with Chinese enterprises, including more than six years based in China, he brings a deep cross-cultural understanding that bridges global practices with Asian business Realities.
He also served as a director of an Indian company for three years.
Seng Chun is passionate about developing financial leadership, strategic thinking, and business transformation capabilities. His programs blend real-world executive experience with practical, actionable insights, empowering professionals to make informed decisions and drive sustainable business success.
He is currently serving as a Fractional CFO, Independent Director, Certified Family Business Advisor, and Adult Educator.
