NASIM invites you to a panel discussion examining the aftermath of the Israeli election. Together with a panel of experts on Israel, Palestine, and the wider region, we will unpack the election results, the political parties and actors that shaped them, and the debates taking place within Israeli society. But importantly, this election takes place in the context of Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza, its apartheid system, and continued occupation of Palestine. We therefore also want to ask what Israeli electoral politics look like from a Palestinian perspective living in the 1948 territories, and what it means to participate and campaign in an election within an apartheid state. The panel will consist of Jonathan Ofir, Liora Sion, Sune Haugbølle, Mina Ali Eldin, and Reem Hazzan, and will be moderated by Fanar Haddad
