About this Event
There’s something special about stepping out of work and into a space where you can finally exhale — and that’s exactly the energy our after‑work drinks bring to AFROSOCIAL. As the city winds down, we’re creating a place where Black professionals can unwind, reconnect with themselves, and plug into a community that feels both familiar and inspiring.
Expect a relaxed, after‑hours atmosphere with curated music, warm lighting, and a crowd that knows how to balance ambition with enjoyment. Whether you’re grabbing your first drink of the evening, easing into conversation with someone new, or catching up with familiar faces, the vibe is intentionally unhurried. No stiff networking. No forced small talk. Just genuine connection over good drinks and good energy.
The bar will be serving a mix of classic cocktails, wines, and non‑alcoholic options — because the point isn’t what’s in your glass, it’s the people you share the moment with. This is your chance to shake off the workday, celebrate your wins (big or small), and be surrounded by a community that gets the journey you’re on.
By the time the evening settles in, you’ll feel lighter, more connected, and reminded that Sydney’s Black professional community is vibrant, growing, and full of people worth knowing.
