This presentation is an overview of some African Powers often called Gods & Goddesses. It highlights their significances, symbols and the spiritual traditions to which they belong. As the divine feminine and masculine, they also reflect ancestral wisdom, and the retentions of African spirituality in the diaspora. The session is sponsored by Merton Libraries, celebrating Black History Month.
