Where does small business fit in the future of the Navy?
AFCEA Dahlgren is excited to launch our Small Business Speaker Series on November 4 with Dr. Harry J. Kantrovich, Director of Strategy & Customer Engagement at SCCI.
As the Navy works to strengthen shipbuilding capacity, address workforce and production challenges, and modernize the Fleet, new approaches are emerging across the maritime industrial base—including distributed shipbuilding models that could expand the network of companies supporting Navy production.
Dr. Kantrovich will share insights from his recent engagement with members of the National Commission on the Future of the Navy and discuss what evolving approaches to shipbuilding, acquisition, maintenance, workforce, and modernization could mean for the broader Defense Industrial Base.
For our small business community, we’ll bring the conversation back to a critical question:
