DC OCTO invites you to join the AI Values Alignment Advisory Group meeting to help shape ethnical AI policy in the District.
About this Event

The DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) invites interested persons to attend a public meeting of the Advisory Group on AI Values Alignment (AIVA).

The purpose of the Advisory Group is to engage with internal and external stakeholders on the proper intersection of the District’s AI Values and emerging and future AI technologies to ensure all stakeholder perspectives are heard, and to advise the Mayor on the refinement and alignment of the District government’s AI Values on an ongoing basis.

Date: Thursday, April 30, 2026

Time: 6:00pm

Location: In-person, Shaw Library

The agenda for the public meeting includes:

  • AI Tool Implementation Review
  • Cohort 2 Agency Updates
  • Mayor’s Order Benchmark Updates

The Advisory Group will also discuss ideas for AI and DC Government more broadly.
