Join the Italian Cultural Society for one of Washington, D.C.’s most memorable evenings.
The ICS Gala 2026 celebrates the excellence of Italian culture through music, honoring Maestro Gianandrea Noseda, one of the world’s leading conductors.
This year’s theme is inspired by the legacy of Giacomo Puccini, bringing together patrons, supporters, and friends of Italian culture for an elegant evening of music, fine dining, and celebration.
Evening Highlights:
Italian cocktail reception with live jazz
Tribute to Maestro Gianandrea Noseda
Live performance by the NSO String Quartet (Puccini repertoire)
- Preludio e fuga (6’ – unpublished, U.S. premiere)
- Gavotta (2’ – unpublished, U.S. premiere)
- Minuetto (3’ – published, rarely performed; includes a theme later used in Manon Lescaut)
- Crisantemi (7’ – well known and regularly performed)Formal dinner, awards ceremony, and piano performance
All proceeds support the Italian Cultural Society’s educational programs, scholarships, and cultural initiatives in the Washington, DC area. A portion of up to $225 per ticket is tax-deductible.
