The Advent season invites us to step away from what can easily become a hurried and frenzied season of shopping, parties, activities, and endless to-do lists—and instead slow down, be still, and remember the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior.Join House of Hope for a special Jesse Tree Advent Seminar, where you’ll create your own Jesse Tree Advent Ornament Kit and receive an accompanying 25-day devotional designed to help you and your family intentionally walk through the story of Scripture together this Christmas season.
The Jesse Tree tells the story of God’s faithfulness from Creation to the birth of Christ. Each day leading up to Christmas, your family will read a Bible story, spend time talking and praying together, and add a meaningful ornament to your tree. As the ornaments are added, you’ll begin to see the incredible story of God’s plan of redemption unfold—ultimately pointing us to Jesus.
This isn’t just another Christmas activity to add to your schedule. Our desire is to help you create intentional moments with your family that turn your hearts toward Christ and build meaningful traditions and memories that can last for generations.
Each Jesse Tree Kit includes:
• 25 keepsake ornaments — These aren’t paper ornaments! Each day includes a tangible item or ornament—such as an apple, stars, a shepherd’s hook, or a crown—that corresponds with that day’s Bible passage and story.
• A 25-day Advent devotional — Beginning with Creation and journeying through Scripture to the birth of Jesus, each day includes a Bible story, discussion questions, prayer, and optional activities designed to help your family engage with God’s Word together.
Our hope is to equip you with a simple, meaningful way to slow down during Advent and intentionally disciple your children through the story of Scripture.
Christmas doesn’t have to be defined by hurry.
Come create something your family can use year after year as you prepare your hearts for Christmas, celebrate the incredible story of God’s redemption, and remember together that Jesus is the reason we celebrate.
Let’s put CHRIST back into CHRISTmas and make this Advent season one your family will remember for years to come.
