REGISTRATION OPENS 9/16 @ 10AM
Slow down and connect with nature at beautiful Frenchman's Forest Natural Area during a short (under 1 mile) guided hike followed by a beginner-friendly nature journaling session and drawing activities with watercolors. Through the lessons provided in a video series “Sketch with Sibley”, taught by the renowned David Sibley we will learn to draw some of the incredible birds we get to enjoy in Florida. Learn simple techniques for observing and capturing the plants, wildlife, and natural details around you—no experience needed, and paper and materials will be provided. Bring something comfortable to sit on as we settle into nature and observe the natural world around us!

WHAT TO BRING:
- Water bottle (and water)
- Hat and sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Appropriate clothing (hat, hiking shoes/boots, long-sleeved shirts and pants for bugs)
- Something to sit on while drawing. Blanket, mat, etc.
- Restrooms are not available at this site.
Please no pets or unaccompanied minors.
