2026-2027 Concerts on the Desert Season
At Saint Barnabas, we are proud to continue our tradition of great music, world-class soloists, and a commitment to this community's cultural life.
All concerts are held in the beautiful sanctuary of Saint Barnabas on the Desert Episcopal Church, home of the Pritzlaff Memorial Pipe Organ. After each concert, a reception is held in the Joseph C. Lincoln Hall of the Gwen Harris Music Center.
Come celebrate this exciting season of concerts with us. Please take note of the special services throughout the year, and consider participating in other aspects of the Music Ministry at Saint Barnabas. You certainly won’t want to miss the wonderful events that we have planned!

Saturday, December 12, 4pm: A Service of Advent Lessons and Carols
Our annual service of Lessons & Carols continues the great Anglican Advent tradition of telling the stories that prepare us for the mystery of the Christmas season. The Saint Barnabas Parish Choir leads this service, complete with congregational hymns, choral anthems, and Biblical readings. (Make a goodwill offering in support here)

Friday, January 22, 4pm: Organ Recital (FREE)

Saturday, February 13, 3pm: "Share the Love Concert"
Join us on Valentine’s Day as we offer an evening of music centered around love and care of one another. Enjoy choral classics with instrumental guests, musical theater favorites and operatic numbers all while enjoying a glass of wine and some delectable desserts. Note: this is a concert that will utilize multiple spaces on our campus and guests will travel from space to space!

Sunday, March 7, 4pm: Urban Nocturnes
Join us for an unforgettable performance by Urban Nocturnes, one of Phoenix’s premier chamber music ensembles. Known for their artistry, versatility, and imaginative programming, these exceptional musicians bring together beloved classical works and unexpected musical discoveries for an engaging and inspiring concert experience.

Saturday, April 18, 4pm: Evensong
Experience the beauty and tradition of Evensong at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church. Through sacred choral music, scripture, and prayer, this contemplative service offers a peaceful space to pause, reflect, and be renewed. Come and enjoy an evening of inspiring music in the beautiful setting of Saint Barnabas.

Sunday, May 2, 3pm: Salt River Brass
Our concert series concludes with the dynamic sounds of Salt River Brass, Arizona’s premier brass band. Known for their brilliant musicianship and vibrant performances, this acclaimed ensemble brings together the power of brass and percussion with a repertoire ranging from classical favorites and marches to show tunes, folk melodies, and jazz. Join us for an energetic and memorable finale to our concert season.
