The Steiner Academy Hereford will once again open its doors to the public for its much-loved Advent Fair on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November 2026 at the school in Much Dewchurch.
A highlight of the local festive calendar, the Advent Fair brings together families, friends, and the wider community for two days of creativity, craftsmanship, and Christmas cheer, all in support of the school.
On Friday evening (6.30–8.30pm), adults can enjoy browsing a curated selection of artisan stalls in a relaxed atmosphere whilst sipping a mulled wine; the perfect way to start the festive season!
The family-friendly celebrations on Saturday (11am–4pm) include day full of hands-on activities, workshops, and entertainment for all ages. Children can visit the Snow Queen’s magical grotto, make beeswax candles, decorate gingerbread, or enjoy storytelling sessions. Wreath-making workshops, hearty seasonal food, and homemade cakes will add to the festive spirit.
Visitors can browse a beautiful array of handcrafted gifts – from pottery, jewellery, and textiles to toys and festive decorations – all crafted by local artisans and small independent makers.
Run entirely by volunteers, the Advent Fair raises vital funds for the school while offering a welcoming, family-friendly celebration that reflects the warmth and creativity of the Steiner community.
