NEW DRUM CLASSES — Oak Cliff!
Join master percussionist Jamal Mohamed this fall for a hands-on hand drumming & ethnic percussion series at La Cantera Arts Conservatory! Explore rhythms and techniques from cultures around the world on authentic instruments — hand drums, gongs, bells, shakers, and more.

Sign up for either or both classes!
Beginner (Family-Friendly) — Saturdays, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
No experience needed! Learn fundamental technique, tone, and rhythm in a welcoming space for all ages.
Advanced — Wednesdays, 8:00 – 9:00 pm
For drummers with prior experience ready to dive into polyrhythms, group timing, and more complex techniques.
Drum Jam after : 9:00 PM - 10:30 PM Tryout what you learned and have a little fun
Plus a special session with guest instructor Julia Alcantara on Flamenco Rhythms!
$50 for the full series
All ages welcome — kids under 12 accompanied by an adult
