About this Event
Put your technique to the test and learn to make this light delicate springtime dessert! Similar to a Buche de Noel, a roulade features a creamy fruit filling rolled into a thin light sponge cake and decorated with more cream and fresh fruit. In this three-hour course, we will show you how to make and pipe the classic sponge cake from scratch and make the filling with cream and your choice of fruit. Each student will learn the skills needed to prep, mix, pipe, whip and properly roll their cakes and filling together! You will leave class with your roulade as well as the skills needed to recreate it at home.
