Join us for an exciting class where we dive into advanced group improvisation concepts and formations. You’ll refine your technique through focused practice of steps and combinations, all while receiving valuable feedback to elevate your skills. This is your chance to showcase your FCBD® Style Group Improv dance abilities and discover what you’re truly capable of!
? WHAT TO EXPECT:
Each class will feel like a private lesson, immersing you in advanced FCBD® Style group improvisation. We will dance, drill, and sweat together, receiving loving feedback that nurtures your technique and posture. Our shared goal is to master our movement vocabulary, enabling us to produce fluid, improvisational performances. Embrace peer critiques and lively discussions on musicality, flow, and performance presence, all while experiencing the joy of dancing without overthinking. In this class, we focus solely on the rich vocabulary of FCBD® Style, strengthening your foundation and empowering you with confidence in your body and trust while dancing with others.
? PREREQUISITE:
To attend this class, you must be confident in playing your zills on beat. You should be well-acquainted with Classic and Modern FCBD® style vocabulary and cues, as well as common formations like duet, trio, quartet, and chorus. You will take the lead in formations without hesitation. We are excited to dance with you and elevate our skills together!
