An exciting new chapter in healthcare is taking shape in Bakersfield, and the community is invited to join the celebration! Adventist Health will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Advanced Care Pavilion on Thursday, October 8, featuring refreshments and tours of the innovative space that's bringing advanced specialty and cancer care closer to home. The pavilion is a 60,000-square-foot facility located adjacent to the Adventist Health AIS Cancer Center. Designed to bring cancer treatment, coordinated specialty care, and comprehensive support services together in one location, the pavilion will expand access to advanced medical care throughout the Central Valley.
The approximately $24 million project will improve access, coordination, and convenience for patients while supporting the region's growing healthcare needs. Once open, the pavilion will enhance services in areas such as medical oncology, breast care, orthopedics and spine care, cardiothoracic, and advanced diagnostics.
The pavilion will also feature the region's first Rapid Care Oncology Clinic, expanded infusion services, advanced diagnostics, and additional specialty care offerings.
