Once the fundamentals are understood, AI can be configured to become a specialized assistant that supports recurring safety activities. This advanced course explores how to create and deploy custom AI tools, including specialized agents, custom GPTs, Gems, and document-based research assistants such as NotebookLM. Participants will learn how to build AI systems that align with organizational procedures, reference safety documentation, and support activities such as policy development, standards alignment, training creation, and research. The course will also examine governance considerations, quality assurance, and practical implementation strategies. Participants will leave with a roadmap for developing AI solutions that amplify professional judgment and improve safety performance across their organizations.
