Our Adult Learn to Sail programs are designed to take you from complete beginner to confident dinghy sailor, one step at a time. Join us this 26 and 27 of September, from 09:00am till 13:00pm.
Whether you’re completely new to sailing or ready to build on the skills you already have, there’s a course for you:
⛵ Start Sailing 1 — The Basics
For complete beginners.
Get introduced to dinghy sailing in a safe, supportive and hands-on environment. You’ll learn sailing terminology and equipment, how to rig, launch and recover a boat, basic sailing skills and even what to do if you capsize.
No previous sailing experience needed, just be water confident.

🌊 Start Sailing 2 — Build Your Skills
For sailors who have completed Start Sailing 1.
Ready to take the next step? Start Sailing 2 builds on your fundamentals and gives you the skills and confidence to
sail a dinghy independently.
You’ll develop your boat handling, sailing technique and understanding of how to get around the water on your own.

💨 Better Sailing 3 — Take It Further
For sailors who have completed Start Sailing 2.
Ready for a little more speed? Better Sailing introduces stronger winds, spinnakers, trapezing and more advanced sailing techniques as you work towards getting more performance out of your boat.
It’s the next step towards becoming a more confident and capable sailor.
