In 2026 Blystra Arts will also be offering an Adult Lantern Making Workshop for the first time. This session will be an hour longer, and will allow anyone over 16+ to make bigger lanterns. The adult workshop will be happening on Thurs 19th Nov from 5.30pm – 9.30pm at CSpace in Newquay. Cost of the session will be £15 for 4 hours, and includes all materials and will be more of a guided workshop with less people, so creative adults in the community can really get stuck in to creating something spectacular for the parade.
We would love for any adults who attend to then also come along to the parade on the 20th Nov and parade their amazing willow creations.
Tickets for the adult session are: https://blystraarts.org/product/adult-lantern-making-workshop/
All the Newquay Lantern Parade events and activity in 2026 has been made possible with support from Newquay BID, Wax Events, Atlantic Hotel and Newquay Town Council Events.
