This small-group class is perfect for adults who are:
🐴 Completely new to horses
🐴 Returning after time away
🐴 Taking riding lessons and wanting more horse knowledge
🐴 Preparing to lease or own a horse
🐴 Looking for a meaningful way to spend Sunday mornings
Topics may include:
• Safe horse handling
• Grooming and tacking
• Groundwork and communication
• Horse behavior and body language
• Everyday horse care
• Feed, boarding, farrier and veterinary basics
• Leasing, ownership and the real costs involved
• Building confidence and independence around horses
This is a hands-on, unmounted horsemanship class that complements riding lessons. Horse ownership is NOT required, and no previous horse experience is necessary.
