About this Event
Summer is over and it's back to school, everyone. Which means it's once again time to dive into a classic. Speaking of which, ever wonder what, exactly, makes a book a classic? Is it age? Is it the times in which it was written? Is it the story of real charaters that reveals something about the human condition? Is it that every five years Hollywood makes a movie out of it? We may never know. But that won't stop our fascination with them.
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (1847) is one of those classics that everyone seems to be familiar with, even if they haven't read it or seen one of the many movie adaptions.
If you've never read it before, only read it once or want to reread it, consider joining us for our book club at Elmwood Park Branch Library.
