About this Event
Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, our behavioral healthcare system stops handing young people forward and starts handing them off.
The ALW Adolescent & Young Adult Collaborative was created to challenge that gap.
This event brings together behavioral health professionals, educators, treatment providers, community leaders, families, and other key stakeholders to have practical conversations about how we better support young people as their needs, environments, and systems of care evolve.
From elementary and middle school through adolescence, emerging adulthood, and the transition into adult services, we’ll explore where support breaks down—and what stronger collaboration can look like.
This isn’t about another conversation around what’s wrong. It’s about sharing expertise, strengthening connections, identifying real solutions, and building a more coordinated continuum of care.
Because young people shouldn’t have to navigate the gaps between our systems.
We can build better bridges forward—together.
