This is more than a social outing. Each week, participants learn one specific social skill, see it modeled, practice it with peers, and receive coaching in the moment during structured activities and games.
Skills may include:
• Joining group conversations
• Starting and maintaining conversations
• Perspective-taking (“reading the room”)
• Handling winning and losing appropriately
• Managing frustration and disappointment
• Trading information instead of monologuing
• Self-control and impulse management
• Cooperation and teamwork
• Problem-solving social conflicts
• Building and maintaining friendships
Our goal is to help participants move beyond simply knowing social rules and begin using them successfully in real-life situations.
Led by Mike Marchionne, M.S., BCBA, this group provides a supportive environment where participants can build confidence, make connections, and practice meaningful social interactions with guidance and feedback throughout the session.
What makes this different?
✔ A new social skill is taught each week
✔ Skills are modeled and practiced through activities

✔ Structured opportunities to interact with peers
✔ Parent summary and practice suggestions provided after each session
Designed for children and teens with ADHD who would benefit from extra support developing friendship, communication, and social problem-solving skills.
