What to expect: Auricular acupuncture detoxification uses a specific protocol: five sterile needles are placed in each ear and retained for approximately 20–45 minutes. No appointment is necessary; come by and take as much time as you like. Non-needle alternatives, including seeds and magnets, are also available.
For the past 50 years, AcuDetox has been used worldwide to support people with stress, trauma, PTSD, mental health, and addiction issues. Potential benefits include decreased anxiety and depression, increased emotional well-being, pain management, improved PTSD, decreased cravings, and more restful sleep.
Since the day after the King Soopers tragedy, more than 28,000 AcuDetox treatments have been provided in Boulder County to support the community with stress and trauma and offer a healthy alternative to substance use.
