Action Item*** Austrian premiere! / Best Film Award International Feature Dox at Doku Fest ***
CZ, 2025, 69, English Directed by: Paula Ďurinová
Set in Berlin, Paula Ďurinová mesmerizing film explores symptoms of a silenced condition of our time. A reflection on burnout moves from personal experience to a collective perspective. Action Item is a possibility to transform anxiety into resistance, reframing struggles through shared memory, found footage, and the politics of care. What if the real task is to unlearn, pause, reimagine? „Action Item shows that burnout is not simply an individual psychological issue, but rather a symptom of a system that pathologizes what ought to be a matter of collective discourse.“ - Caligari
„A quietly radical, emotionally textured, and visually meditative film.“ - Film Fest Report
„Constantly fascinating...it is a powerful and personal work.“ - Journey Into Cinema
