Maybe you’d like to feel more comfortable speaking up at work, going into an interview, meeting new people, giving a speech, or simply walking into a room or party feeling a little more confident in yourself.
Our Acting for Confidence course uses fun drama games, improvisation and acting techniques to build confidence in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment. Absolutely NO acting experience is needed – this isn’t about becoming an actor!
The course is led by Attila Kent, who has years of experience helping people develop confidence in real-life situations. He has delivered confidence-building workshops for Pret a Manger, helping middle managers become more confident contributing in board meetings, and was hired by Loughborough University to help students develop confidence for job interviews. He has also helped many a nervous Best Man prepare for that all-important speech!
The same techniques actors use – being present, thinking on your feet, using your voice and body confidently and overcoming self-consciousness – can be incredibly useful in everyday life.
And most importantly, it’s FUN!
Whether you’re naturally shy, have lost a little confidence over the years, want to become more assertive at work, or simply fancy challenging yourself and meeting some lovely new people, come and give it a try.
