Create a vibrant, whimsical autumn painting inspired by the magic of a moonlit night! In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll combine acrylic paint and soft pastels to create a glowing pumpkin surrounded by silhouetted trees, a colorful night sky, and a warm harvest moon.🎨 What You’ll Learn
Build a colorful night-sky background using layered acrylics
Blend purples, pinks, blues, and oranges to create a luminous atmosphere
Paint a bold, glowing pumpkin with dimensional curved sections
Add dramatic black tree silhouettes for contrast
Use soft pastels to create highlights, texture, and a beautiful glowing effect
Finish with stars and atmospheric details that make the painting sparkle
🌙 Workshop Experience
We’ll work step-by-step, starting with loose acrylic color and gradually adding definition and contrast. Soft pastels will then be introduced to enhance the pumpkin’s warm glow and bring additional texture and expressive color to the painting.
No previous painting experience is necessary! This workshop is designed to encourage creativity, experimentation, and individual expression. Students are welcome to make the colors and details their own.
