This Cookie Decorating Class is a relaxed, social experience designed for those who want to lose themselves in a creative activity while chatting with friends. The session is light on formal lecture and heavy on "studio time," giving you ample space to focus on your art and your company. Each student will be guided on how to transform one giant sugar cookie into an ACOTAR-themed masterpiece using palette knives and sprinkles.What You Will Learn
- Palette Knife Work: Master how to use a palette knife and buttercream to create a night sky background.
- Beading & Detail Work: Discover the meditative process of "sprinkle beading," using tweezers and a variety of gorgeous sprinkles to fill in your design with precision and flair.
- The Piped Border: Finish your creation by piping a delicate border for a professional look.
- Lettering: Learn how to pipe text neatly using buttercream and a piping tip.
Amenities Included
- Refreshments: Access to a snack counter including house-made non-alcoholic drinks, charcuterie and fruit skewers, a dessert, and a Keurig coffee station.
- To0ls & Equipment: Class aprons and all necessary baking tools to use in class, as well as a 10-inch window box for safe transport.
- Professional Ingredients: One giant 8” round sugar cookie, fresh buttercream, a curated selection of "beading" sprinkles, and all the icing needed for your design.
Special Notes & Recommendations
- Recommended Age: While there is no age restriction, this class requires patience, a light touch, and a certain level of dexterity to place small sprinkles with tweezers. Recommended 14+
- Dress for the Mess: In this class, we will use heavily pigmented buttercreams that can stain fabrics. Fabric aprons are provided, but please dress accordingly.
Notes:
- Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE! If you are unable to attend the class, you may transfer the ticket to another person. Tickets are not transferable to another class.
- Doors will open 10 minutes before listed class start time. Students wishing to grab seats together are encouraged to arrive when doors open, otherwise we cannot guarantee reserved seating regardless if tickets were purchased together or not.
