The Cellar Stage presents ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE all the way from Japan to your back yard here in Reno. This extremely prolific psychedelic noise freak-out collective spearheaded by guitarist Makoto Kawabata makes its way down the ramp and in your face at your favorite basement venue, accompanied by Magick Potion on their 2026 US tour. With local support from everybody's favorite doom quartet, Ozymandias, this will be the show to see this fall.
Acid Mothers Temple & the Melting Paraiso U.F.O., commonly shortened to Acid Mothers Temple or AMT, is a Japanese rock band, the core of which formed in 1995.[4] The band is led by guitarist Kawabata Makoto and early in their career featured many musicians and offshoot groups and collaborations, but by 2004 the line-up had coalesced with only a few core members and frequent guest vocalists.
