Bio:
Dr. Shannon Blalock is a practicing pediatric cardiologist and medical director in East Texas. When she moved to East Texas, she started in two rooms with one employee. For more than a decade, she was the only pediatric cardiologist living in the region, covering more than 30 counties. Today the practice has three physicians and more than 25 employees, and it has drawn three other pediatric subspecialties to East Texas. Her NRC patient ratings have consistently been in the 99th percentile. She is the founder of CardioGrowMD and EchoTalk, which teach congenital heart disease to families and sonographers, and she co-founded East Texas’s first congenital heart disease support group.
